Long Way Round and Long Way Down - Ewan McGreggor and Charlie Boorman ride BMWs from Europe to Russia and then AK to NY.  The second trip (3 years later) is from Scotland to South Africa.  The books are good.

Saw both on Discovery or NG Channels, Quite good.

There was one with Charlie doing the Dakar as well

B and I just started the Long Way Down series on Fri.  Espisodes 1-4.  We will have the next disc (4 Esp.) today.

It is getting us excited for moto trips next summer.   [moto]


I was dissapointed by the LWR book.  I wanted more substiance than was in the show but it wasn't there.
