lol. Right now I'm reconsidering. I may still have at it. Found some sources for parts on line. And I'd still have my Radian to practice on until I'm ready. That is a bike I would definately want one day(sooner probably than later).

Shoot, just having the bones is a great structure to start from. Keep in mind though that I'm a guy who rides a Duc that was quite literally broken in half when I purchased it.

If the engine is in good shape I would do something cool with it. I have a couple frames laying around and misc. Duc parts, and I love a good project and the chance to use a 4 valver in something would be tits.  waytogo

I enjoy this one....

Quote.........."Im selling a 2002 Monster 620ie. It has 14000 miles runs good. Just completed the 6000 mile service. Changed every shim on the valves because i wanted it perfect and didn't want to have to change them again the next time i checked the clearances. The next time you have to check the valves it should still be in spec."

Nice that he just completed the 6000 mile at 14000 and changed every shim, so you don't have to next time. laughingdp applause

Brilliant!!!  Adjust clearances so that by the time you do the 12k check at 28k miles the valve train will wear INTO to spec.  I wish I could be that smart, I only know how to follow directions.   Grin

"The registration is expired because cops never pull me over other than that its ready to go."

This guy IS gifted.  If only I could get the cops to agree to never pulling me over too, I could save lots 'o cash on registration, and don't even get me started about insurance!

In this case the poster isn't the Crack Addict, it's appearantly an entire Kawi dealership. A few posts but worth a read. I was going to take my bike there for a "free" check up. I think I'll pass, not worth the drive.

2005 Ducati Monster S2R 803 .00 ccm (49.00 cubic inches) V-twing 76.03 HP 100.5 to 1 compression Alloy single sided trellis swingarm adjustable rear ride height 5 spoke wheels 24 degree rake makes this a sweet road bike . Needs a head light and a front fender Look at the bike in Sacramento Monday or Tuesday Priced to sell ph 916-871-0651 If your looking for a sweet deal on a Duck this is it D

wow..100.5:1 compression!
how do the heads handle that?

if it weren't for the smashed front headlight i'd say it might be a good deal. as is, i'd be very curious what had happened to the bike and any other damage it may have sustained.
