I see that the pics are not of the same bike.  But I don't see how this is a scam.  If I wanted to steal a white monster I'd just go find one in a parking lot somewhere.  I don't see the advantage of offering a reward for finding one.  I might be missing a very clever trick, but I don't see it.  Maybe, it is a scam to get your bank account info.  You find a white monster, which is rather common, and they ask for your  account to send you the money.  Would have to be really dumb to fall for that.

This guy has been trying to get rid of this since spring. A friend of mine went to look at it, he was unwilling to budge on the $3500 he was asking at the time. He said to him "Do you know what this is? It's a Ducati, you know how much they're worth?"

Look again.  He has dropped the price.  I must be missing something.  This seems reasonable.

2007 800 Supersport, 700 miles, listed as new, and an opening bid of $11,500...

Well, he's dropped the price to a mere $10,000 but is still listing it as new with 700 miles and 2 owners and 4cc engine. When I asked him for clarification he told me to keep my opinions to myself unless I was buying...

I guess there is no accounting for taste.  Which is a lucky break for the defiler of a perfectly good '99 750 Super Sport. Damn.

I've never been able to to figure out why anyone sets a reserve on an eBay auction, then discloses in the listing what the reserve is. Why not just go ahead and set a starting bid?

None of which, of course, explains what evil that bike committed to deserve those skins.

I love that the bidding currently stands at $189.76.

A guy I work with did something just as bad to his Speed Triple. I literally gasped when he showed it to me.
