Roger that. ;) That's reason #1 I don't want this one screwed down. [thumbsup]

Move along, nothing to see here. Back to gun stuff. ;D

I plan to list the Federal Gov't. as a dependent on my next 1040 tax filing!

I have flying honey badgers and I'm not afraid to use them!

The fact that flame throwers exist is proof that someone somewhere said "I'd sure like to set those people over there on fire but I'm just not close enough to get the job done."

Kimber makes a good 1911. [thumbsup]

For some reason there are a lot of complaints out there, but mine has been perfect w/ over +1000 rounds of just cheap ball ammo, and Kimber mags.

oh yeah, and very acccurate.  So accurate, it pisses my shooting buddies off.

My bad experience with Kimber was an Ultra CDP II.  I had constant FTF. Kimber suggested that I was limp wristing. I had a few other people shoot it (people unlikely to limp wrist,) and they had the same issue.

Put it in a bench rest and see if it does it.

I had a Keltec P40 that would stovepipe horribly with limpwristed shooters.  I had to show a friend how to benchrest his to prove it wasn't the gun.

A lot of people limpwrist some and don't know it.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

My 1911 has done that for my wife, but not consistently.  Once I figured out what was up I got her to put a more serious hold on it and the stovepipes and fail to feeds went away and were replaced with holes in the target.

It's when the spent cartridge fails to fully eject & jams like this:

Ty.. awesome vid.

+3 Quite possibly one of the most useful videos I've seen. Every time we would stand around trying to figure out what went wrong instead of just clearing and continuing.

I love Clint Smith. Great guy! Great instructor! I couldn't stop going to Thunder Ranch when it was near Mountain Home, TX. I could have lived there on the range! ;) Spent a shit load of $$ on classes and a whole lot of time but f#@king loved every minute of it.

Stayed in Kerrville and it was damn near a 100 mile round trip from the hotel to TR and back to the hotel every day. Most classes were 5 days and that was 500 miles of driving just to shoot. Had to watch out for all those big ass Hill Country deer on the sides of the road in the morning and at night. :o Had several late night shoots and driving back to the hotel sleepy at 2:00AM with all those deer was a trip!

The place was clean as an operating room. The brass detail at the end of every day made it that way. Shotgun and rifle empties were easy pick up compared to pistol cases in the gravel. [bang] That was a pain in the ass. The Terminator indoor shoot "house" was the coolest ever. So was the Thunderville town/street simulator section. I miss it. [popcorn] [bacon] [bow_down]
