I was out with some friends today. We stopped by Costco and I saw "Blue Agave Sweetener." I couldn't help but think of all the delicious tequila that could have been, but was instead destined for a "low glycemic index sweetener."



Maybe I should rescue some bottles and use them as a home-brew extract base...

Agave syrup (blue agave sweetner) is a fantastic sugar to use for margaritas.........much better than bar sugar or sucrose based syrup. I always make sure to have a bottle of it in my liquor cabnet

Yep, killed a keg of Smithwicks over the weekend.  Didn't want it hanging around while we were gone.  The debate not is should we get another one for then next time we are in for about 10 days.

Have one on order, in the distributor's fridge. Give him a range of days you may or may not be back, and tell him to keep hone handy for those dates.

If he has issues with that, he's not worth dealing with.

i have decided that tonight will be a "i'm getting blasted" night. i realized our wine population was far too high so i called it out and am currently doing battle with a bottle of merlot. i have already dealt the death blow to a shiraz.
