Ford will not sell the crew-cab ranger in the USA.....
Maybe Mazda will bring the new global Ranger to the USA for you?

Same ute, same diesels, different Japofunky styling.

built by gm in thailand

the old colorado was gm built using isuzu motor

the old rodeo was isuzu build

isuzu and gm had a disagreement hence why you ended up with the colorado

um.... so the new Chevy/Holden Colorado is built by GM in Thailand using GM diesels?  Heres me thinking that coz it continues to share much with the new Isuzu Dmax that they're built on the same line.........

And Isuzu builds the new Dmax in Thailand (same vehicle under the skin) but using Isuzu's own diesels?

Almost identical vehicles, jointly developed by two vehicle manufacturers admist disagreement, built in seperate plants... ?

No wonder auto makers cant make money  laughingdp.

Q) Why is sitting inside the new 2012 Isuzu Dmax a better place to be than the almost identical interior of the new 2012 Holden/Chevy Colorado?

Colorado interior....

Dmax interior....

A) Coz inside the Dmax you cant see its exterior "styling"  vomit

2012 Dmax...

Buying a Chevy Orlando, which is not available in the US. 2 liter diesel with 7 seats and actually affordable. I think because it's not sold in the US, they can't double the price like they do for any other car.

Found a review for the gas version:

1) Marketing it in the US (if it met US safety regs) would vastly increase unit sales.... and therefore production volumes, which you'd think would lead to it becoming less expensive, not more.
2) From my perspective vehicles sold in the US are much less expensive than the same vehicle sold anywhere else.
3) Its not a diesel small truck.

Apart from that I agree with you completely  Grin

I'm living in Chile, which means that any car sold down here that is also sold in the US is sold automatically at double of what you would buy there. So in this case it's a godsend that they don't sell it over there. I know it's nt quite a truck, but a small minivan, which apparently are used as trucks in many parts of the world.

The Chevy Colorado will be coming to USA and built here, they are re-tooling all the plants to make the new 13' models for the Colorado and the silverado. I know this because i have a 97' 1500 with 212k on her and have been hunting down every tid bit of information. Maybe Chevy will put a oil burner in the silverado, as they look better(imho) and have a 6ft bed. One can only hope!

Silverado is due for a model change soon as well.  There's oft been rumors of a 1/2 ton diesel, yet nobody has pulled the trigger yet.

The Raptor by Ford should have a diesel.  At least that's what I wanted last night but instead drove out with Moby Dick.   laughingdp  I'm in love again.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the air—these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.
