Yeah, yeah... everyone on this thread knows I have a thing for self defense scatterguns. [roll] I rattle on about them all the time. Zzzzzzz. BUT, check out this new Kel-Tec shotgun!!!

http://www.keltecweapons.com/news/preview-kel-tec-shotgun-ksg/

Holy shit! 26.1" oal, 18.5" barrel and TWO 7 rnd mag tubes for 14+1 capacity, spits out empties downward like an Ithaca 37, Picatinny rail w/removable flip up sights all for a MSRP of around $800!!!! Oh yeah! Daddy's getting one of those!!!! ;D [thumbsup] [popcorn] You can even have one tube loaded differently from the other and manually switch which tube to feed from!! Hubba hubba!
I plan to list the Federal Gov't. as a dependent on my next 1040 tax filing!

I have flying honey badgers and I'm not afraid to use them!

The fact that flame throwers exist is proof that someone somewhere said "I'd sure like to set those people over there on fire but I'm just not close enough to get the job done."

If you back up to their home page there is a little video at the lower right of it going boom! ;D After re-reading for the 14th time I now get the impression that it may not come with the sights in the pic. No biggie I have spare flip ups and a Trijicon Reflex II looking for a Pic rail!! [thumbsup] Yeah, I know it's plastic but so are my .32 & .380 Kel Tecs and the littler buggers run like freight trains! I like the twin tube idea. Gives you the option of 00 buck in one and thermal nuclear Daisycutter Bouncing Bettys in the other!! [laugh] [laugh]

Yeah, just being funny. Well... at least my sorry ass attempt at it. I'm a straight up low recoil Federal tact 00 buck with a few slugs in the Side Saddle kinda guy. But hey, some people are mixers! [bang] I remember Cyrus going on about a mixed load tube and all my "don't do that" replies. [roll]

I'm going to trade/sell my 9mm Jennings Jams-a-lot in favor of a nice .357 Mag or some other wheel gun.  C and I went shooting at my parent's place and we shot Jams-a-lot and put several rounds through a .22 and .357 both with 6" barrel.  I'm WAY better with the revolvers than the 9mm.  A quality autoloader might change my mind though.  I'd likely go with a 4" barrel for a slightly more compact rig.

We were running .38s in the .357 and C did pretty well considering it was the first time she'd ever fired a gun.  She'd be comfortable with the .357 but would probably prefer to keep .38s in it.

I'd like to give a .44 mag a try and see if I can manage to recoil & muzzle blast.

Looks good, I'd have to fire one to see if I liked it or not.  I need to hit a range up that rents various stuff, but we don't have any locally, or even semi locally.

I don't have any experience with the Jennings, but they get pretty lousy press.

There are lots of good semi auto pistols. Going to a range and renting is a great idea.
